Sprung from Krause House
AIFS was born out of Krause House, a DAO seeking to harness the power of web3 to empower fans to purchase and operate an NBA Team. Governed by a community of fans, the basketball lovers and purists, Krause House aims to write the consensus rules that will bring the first fan-governed team to the NBA.
Our Partnership with SuperBenefit
AIFS is working closely with SuperBenefit DAO to explore new ways of shifting power in the way capital and decision-making flow in communities, designing novel governance systems and leveraging blockchain-enabled finance and coordination infrastructure to address systemic inequities.
Together, we are working on beta testing our ideas and understanding the true value AIFS can provide to its partners, community, and those who have not typically had a seat at the table in governance and decision-making.

Utilizing a community proposal-first approach, where passionate groups from around the world can propose funding for their initiatives.
Our Pilot Projects
Our first pilot projects revolve around basketball court refurbishments, working alongside established community organizations to engage and empower their communities.
We successfully tested our crowdfunding model with a project alongside Project Backboard in Sitka, Alaska, in July 2023. In August 2023 we partnered on a project with Fentwood Hoops in East LA and are currently working on a project in the Philippines.
